“I would like to spend the rest of my days in a place so silent, and working at a pace so slow, that I would be able to hear myself living.”

-Elizabeth Gilbert

Oak Hill Farm was established long before we brought life back into the land. This farm dates back to the 1800’s, and is known by many as simply “ the small family farm up on the hill”. It lives up to its name since every family that lived here, somehow farmed this land. We’ve been told stories from locals about harvesting potatoes in the meadow that can only be accessed by hike, to how they stopped dairy farming because the milk trucks went commercial and couldn’t make it up the road anymore, to yearly lamb roasts that joined the community of Franklin together. We wanted to become apart of this lands history and bring back what its always been known for.

In 2017 we’ve taken over this little piece of Franklin and been working hard to shine a light back onto it. We operate a grass-fed sheep farm on the land and have been rejuvenating the soil that has been untouched since the 70s.

Raising lambs grass-fed, antibiotic/hormone free for our family and close friends is how we started, but now becoming larger and being able to continuously carry on our sustainability and natural farming ways… we want to share with our community and put healthy food on the table for your families.
